1. Install MyAIDictation from the App Store.
2. Open MyAIDictation once and accept the privacy disclosure if you want voice dictation.
3. Open iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard, select MyAIDictation, then tap it and enable Allow Full Access.
4. Choose your dictation mode in the app: built-in on-device dictation, optional local Parakeet, or Pro cloud dictation.
5. In any app, tap the globe key to switch to MyAIDictation. Tap the blue mic to dictate.

No. The current release includes local dictation options and managed Pro cloud dictation. You do not need to create a separate account with any AI provider to use MyAIDictation.

iOS keyboard extensions can't make network requests without Full Access. We use it solely for the network calls that power voice transcription and, for Pro subscribers, the optional AI ghost-editor — nothing else.

We do not log keystrokes, send your typing anywhere (other than the opt-in ghost-editor), or access pasteboard data. See our Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.

Most often this is a permissions issue. Check:

• iOS Settings → MyAIDictation → Microphone is on.
• iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → MyAIDictation → Allow Full Access is on.
• Open the MyAIDictation app at least once and confirm you've granted the data-sharing consent in Privacy & Data Sharing.
• If you're using local Parakeet, confirm the model is downloaded and enabled. If you're using Pro cloud dictation, confirm your subscription is active.

The current release is configured for English only. We may add multi-language support in a future version — let us know what you'd like to see.

Recording audio, handing it to the selected speech engine, and returning text takes a moment. Local Parakeet may need a warmup period after launch, and Pro cloud dictation still has a network round-trip. Longer recordings take proportionally longer.

Hit backspace and the keyboard will revert the correction. If you do this enough times for the same word, the keyboard will learn that you want it left alone.

If you accidentally taught it the wrong thing, open the MyAIDictation app and use the Forget Word card to remove a word from the learned dictionary.

Yes. In the MyAIDictation app, the Autocorrect Aggressiveness card lets you pick:

• Conservative — only corrects words iOS already considers misspelled.
• Balanced — also corrects when our engine is very confident. Recommended for most people.
• Aggressive — corrects most bad typos. Best if you type fast and make a lot of them.

In the app, scroll to Text Expansions and add a shortcut. For example, set omw → On my way!. Type omw followed by a space anywhere the MyAIDictation keyboard is active, and it expands automatically.

Built-in iOS dictation, local Parakeet dictation, autocorrect, word prediction, learned words, and text expansions stay on your iPhone.

If you select Pro cloud dictation or AI rewrite styles, audio or transcript text is sent over encrypted HTTPS through our managed Cloudflare gateway. Optional Pro AI Ghost Editor sends short digit-filtered typed-text windows only when you explicitly enable it. See the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.

Open the MyAIDictation app, scroll to the Privacy & Data Sharing card, and tap Revoke Consent. Voice transcription will be disabled immediately. On-device autocorrect and word prediction will continue to work normally.

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find MyAIDictation, and request a refund — Apple usually approves these within 48 hours.

Yes. MyAIDictation Pro is available as an optional auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial — cancel anytime in your Apple ID Subscriptions.

Pro adds managed cloud dictation, AI rewrite styles, optional AI Ghost Editor, animated themes, adjustable keyboard size, the optional number row, premium haptics, and other customization controls. The free version still includes on-device typing features and local dictation options.
